Troubleshooting and FAQ

Quick answers to the most common issues.

Make sure the power plug is fully inserted into the robot. A loose connection can cause the robot to power on and off repeatedly before starting normally. Once fully connected, the robot should power on within about 20 seconds. If it still does not light up or move after 20 seconds, contact [email protected].

Look for REPO_BT_XXXX in your device’s Bluetooth settings. The last four characters will be different on each unit.

Make sure REPO_BT_XXXX is connected and selected as your audio output device, and that your device volume is turned up. Try pausing and replaying audio, or disconnecting and reconnecting Bluetooth. If audio works on another device but not yours, the issue is likely with that device’s audio settings. If audio does not work on multiple devices, contact [email protected].

Check the eye color for a status warning. See Status Light Reference below.

  • Prolonged red eye animation + limp mouth - The robot is overheating and has intentionally stopped mouth movement to allow the motor to cool down. Let it cool down fully before trying again. If this happens unusually often, contact [email protected].
  • Amber double-blink pattern - Jam detected. Remove anything blocking the mouth.
  • Magenta eyes with a repeating fade - This may indicate a position sensor issue and typically requires support.
  • Solid orange eyes - This may indicate a motor communication issue and typically requires support.

If there is no warning state shown, try restarting the robot by unplugging it and plugging it back in. If the problem continues, contact [email protected].

Hold the M button for 2 seconds to exit. In the Mouth Menu, holding + and - for 2 seconds will also exit.

Please contact [email protected] with your order number and photos or a short video of the damage. Repair options depend on the type of damage.

Before contacting support, try restarting the robot by unplugging it and plugging it back in, then reconnect Bluetooth. If the issue continues, email [email protected] with your order number and a short video of the problem.
